Amy Agrawal | Delta Chapter | Alpha Class

My name isAmy Agrawal and I am Sister E-Bunnyfrom Delta Chapter, Alpha line (Shout out to myAnonymous Alphas!) I have been a sister of DKD

since Fall 2005. As most sisters, our philanthropyand mission really attracted me to thisorganization. However, the thing that reallyimpressed me was seeing how passionate thesisters of this organization are when representingour letters. I loved watching the Delta ChapterFounders proudly wear their letters and seeingtheir commitment to do service and try to raiseawareness of the philanthropy. After crossing, Iembraced all of these aspects of DKD butespecially enjoyed the service events I attended

with my sisters. I have so many treasuredmemories of us doing service and making adifference in people's lives. When I graduated, Istill continued to be highly involved with DKD. Iwas elected into the position of National Presidentfor two years. Through the years of being on NB,my major goal was to increase the communication

between chapters and colonies. I think I really accomplished this by building thenational DKD portal and pushing sisters to post information on the events beingheld nationwide. This really helped open the doors of communication andawareness for all of the hard work our sisters were doing at their respectivechapters and colonies. Afterwards, I remained an Active Alumna by being a co-RA for the Rutgers Founding Line.

Currently, I work as a Senior Scientist at Hoffman La Roche. By day, I'm ascientist who analyzes DNA and focuses on various areas of personalizedmedicine; By night, I'm a crazy micro managing wedding planner trying to puttogether my perfect wedding! So far, I think I've been pretty successful. Sincethe wedding is coming up soon, I seem to be driving everyone a bit insane andI'm sure my sister can attest to that! I feel so lucky to have found my futurehusband in my best friend and couldn't ask for anything more (sigh, I know thatwas a bit sappy!)

My advice to current actives would be to always try to find the fun in anythingyou do with this organization. It is so easy to get caught up in the business andrequirements of being an active sister but you should always try to makeeverything fun. All of my favorite memories of college involve DKD in some wayand I hope current actives will make an effort to do the same. DKD will always bea huge part of my life and I don't think I can ever allow myself to part from it =)WHO WE BE?!

    Testimonials:

Didi is the main reason I joined DKD. Seeing her passion andenthusiasm for this organization inspired me to want to begin DKD atNYU. Throughout Association, Initiation, and my semester as an

Active - she has been there for me and NYU Colony when it seemedlike no one else was. Whenever we had a question or an issue or

ANYTHING, she was someone any of us felt comfortable enough tocall and ask for help. Her words of wisdom are like no other and it

was so appreciated. Didi is one of the most unique and specialindividuals that I have ever met and I feel lucky and proud to call hermy Sister in every sense of the word. -Richa Agrawal, New YorkUniversity Colony
