In  this  role,  I  fulfilled  key  event  administrative  duties  while  also  working  with  Event  Coordinators  as  their  administrative  support  and  production  assistant.  Here  I  mastered  and  implemented  extensive  Delphi,  Maestro  Front  Desk  and  event  programming  skills.  I  also  fine-­‐tuned  my  Excel  and  report  capabilities  –  an  achievement  I  knew  would  be  crucial.      Regular  responsibilities  included:      

• Prop  and  equipment  sourcing  for  weddings  and  annual  events  –  including  marketing  materials  for  office  and  hotel  staff  

• Designing  and  producing  event  artwork  (table  plans,  place  cards,  menus)  where  necessary.            

   Production  and  Events  Coordinator                                              June  2013  –  September  2013      Blonstein  Event  Production,  London                    

 With  Blonstein,  I  acted  as  Event  Manager,  Production  Assistant,  Personal  Assistant  and  Accounts  Coordinator  where  necessary.  This  complex  role,  in  a  small  but  highly  successful  team,  saw  me  managing  accounts,  sourcing  and  budgeting,  crucial  path  analysis  and  production  for  events  such  as  London  Fashion  Week  and  the  International  Woolmark  Awards.  I  gained  strong  team  working  skills  and  knowledge,  including  the  importance  of  leading  and  motivating  others.  After  a  personal  loss,  I  chose  to  move  back  to  Yorkshire  to  be  closer  to  my  family.    Key  responsibilities  include:

     Volunteer  (Assistant  Venue  Manager)                                        June  2012  to  Sept  2012      London  Olympics  2012    (Clean  Event)      

   

In  2012,  while  studying,  I  was  fortunate  enough  to  be  invited  to  work  at  the  London  Olympics.  I  took  a  role  managing  a  cleaning  team  of  100-­‐150  staff  at  the  International  Broadcasting  and  Press  Centre,  Olympic  Park.        The  opportunity  gave  me  chance  to  significantly  develop  my  organisational  and  time  management  skills  and  understanding  of  delegation  and  meeting  tight  deadlines  during  an  extremely  high-­‐profile  event.          Key  responsibilities  included:    

 • Assessing  venues  and  work  areas  • Liaising  with  clients  and  media  personnel  to  schedule  and  complete  all  tasks  to  deadline  • Successfully  deal  with  helpdesk  enquiries    • Complete  all  admin  reports  and  records  • Attendance  of  management  meetings  –  keeping  accurate  minutes  and  effecting  all  actions  accordingly  • Arranging  and  managing  the  complete  work  schedules  for  two  key  buildings,  encompassing  all  offices  

and  studios.
