Proudly, I would like to express my greatest gratitude to Allah for all
blessings and mercies given to me, so that I could finally complete this thesis. It is
only to Allah I give all my hopes and wishes. Peace and salutation are always
given to our noble Prophet Muhammad SAW who has guided us from the dark to
the light.
This thesis entitled An Analysis of Figurative Languages Found in Song
Lyrics of Disney’s Animation Movie Soundtracks is intended to fulfill the
requirement in achieving Sarjana Degree of English Language Education
Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of
Muhammadiyah Malang.
Furthermore, this thesis is dedicated to:
1. Dra. Thathit Manon Andini, M.Hum. and Riski Lestiono. M.A. as my first

and idea in completing this thesis.
