Work Package 4 – Project ManagementProject management is concerned with overall project issues and the core activity ofcommunications - both internal and external.
COMMUNICATIONS events in year one have included 3major project meetings –
• One concentrating on junior researchers introducingthemselves and their work.• One which involved both project and guest speakers,(both research and industry) from the UK and Europe• One where discussions with our advisory panel wasthe main topic.

• A project-wide system of detailed local activity PLANNING has been developed and will continue to evolve. From thislocal level planning derives a set of milestones and decision points culminating in the overall project objectives.

• UHI are first to join us in this capacity.• We connect with sister SUPERGEN project UKSHEC.• In negotiation with a number of other companies who alsowish to join our advisory grouping.• An evolving web site (www.supergen14.org) is live.
Metrics: Quarterly and annual reporting structure leads toquantitative measures of project progress on impact (belowleft) and leveraging (below right).
