• GPA: 2.0 or higher; DCOB students 2.5 or higher

• Have sophomore- senior standing, or departmental approval

• Completed internship hours <12

• A faculty sponsor with experience in the field of study.

• Most competitive internships will be posted and filled the semester before the official start date

• Internship paperwork is due on or before the drop/add date for the semester of internship

• Faculty establish deadlines for your graded internship projects

Example: John wants to intern with JEA in the Summer of 2015.John needs to apply before JEA closes the internship position on

PHIN Connect-typically early in the spring semester. If John is hired as an intern-his paperwork is due before the drop/add date

for summer semester. He turns in his projects to his faculty advisor before the end of summer semester and receives a grade

for his internship in the summer of 2015.
