When a mysterious group of men invade Dr.

Hughes's laboratory, abducting her and stealing

her precious equipment, Ben and Peter are

suddenly caught up in a turf war between dan-

gerous actuators desperate for Dr. Hughes's

innovative technology. And as Ben and Peter

are pulled into a perilous, hidden world full of

impossibilities now made possible, will their

combined powers be enough to save Dr.

Hughes and vanquish their enemies before it's

too late?

Meet a guardian angel like no other, from a

writer like no other. Bold rising star, Victoria

Schwab, makes her whimsical, inspiring, and

clever middle-grade debut.

At a first glance, Aria seems like your average

twelve-year-old girl. She has coppery hair,

colored shoelaces, and a passion for cup-

cakes. But there's more to Aria than meets

the eye. She can dream things into existence,

use her own shadow like a door, and change

the world in small, important ways.

“We are a family on a journey to a place called won-

derful" is the motto of Deza Malone's family. Deza is

the smartest girl in her class in Gary, Indiana, singled

out by teachers for a special path in life. But the

Great Depression hit Gary hard, and there are no

jobs for black men. When her beloved father leaves

to find work, Deza, Mother, and her older brother

Jimmie go in search of him, and end up in a Hoover-

ville outside Flint, Michigan. Jimmie's beautiful voice

inspires him to leave the camp to be a performer,

while Deza and Mother find a new home, and cling

to the hope that they will find Father. Don't touch anything in The Haunted Museum!

It looks like the high point of Samantha's

spring vacation is going to be a glimpse of a

cute boy she sees at The Haunted Museum in

England. She and her sister, Jessica, and their

parents are taking a cruise on the Titanic 2, a

replica of the original Titanic, and there's not

even Wi-Fi! At least the Titanic exhibit at the

Haunted Museum had wax figures and beauti-

ful jewels to look at.

The word gifted has never been applied to a kid

like Donovan Curtis.

It's usually more like Don't try this at home. So

when the troublemaker pulls a major prank at

his middle school, he thinks he's finally gone too

far. But thanks to a mix-up, instead of getting in

trouble, Donovan is sent to the Academy of

Scholastic Distinction (ASD), a special program

for gifted and talented students.

Which animated movie had the highest budg-

et ever? Which state gets the greatest annual

snowfall? Do you know when the highest

tsunami wave ever recorded occurred?

This annual book has more than 300 record

setting statistics and descriptions.
