• Know the key elements of Standard Area 1.

• Be aware of resources that can assist you in implementing the Standard Area.

• Be able to identify next steps you must take to achieve this Standard Area.

• Standards are grouped into 6 broad clusters (p.4)

• Each cluster has 5 parts (p.6):– Introductory statements (intent & benefit)– The Standard statement (result to be

HR management policies comply with employment, workplace health and safety, and other related legislation as applicable in the jurisdiction in which the organization operates.
