ANALYSING RIHANNA WEBSITE

-Before you enter the sight there are a few slides that appear that would interest her fans:

1. Date that her new album comes out and a countdown to get the fans excited

2. Rihanna Merchandise for her new album/song3. Advertisement for her 7 countries 7 days 7 shows tour that her

fans would be interested in going to see. You can click on the image and it takes you to a link where you can buy tickets.

So everything a viewer would see at the beginning would be put there on purpose to get the fans excited and want to continue to the rest of the site.

The display is a simple white background with the slideshow of information on the left and a picture of Rihanna with words written on top

of her in large on the right which highlights that she is the artist.

In comparison to the CD the colour scheme is mostly the same and they stick to black and white contrasting colours.

The Rated R letter shape that was used in the album is used on the website too which shows repetition so thatwhen her fans see this symbol they straight away know

that it links to Rihanna's album.

Additionally in most of the pictures that the websiteshows of Rihanna she is mostly dressed In black and white so there is a theme for the whole album. This Theme also brings out her red hair which could highlight that there is

not only darkness in this album.

WHAT THE WEBPAGE INCLUDES

You see the ‘R’ logo on the side with the menu at the top ad then a slide show of pictures of Rihanna in different clothing and places

which all have a certain theme. The pictures automatically change and then have a few images on top of them with a title underneath

showing different advertisements of places Rihanna has been or tour dates and you can hover over the image and it pops up and if

you want to see more you click on it.

It is a really clever website with lots of movement. It is not simple and boring which is good because Rihanna is not simple and boring

so it would show a wrong impression.

How different slides keep popping up and there is lots to do symbolises Rihanna and how she is very busy and crazy and always changing her hair like how the images keep changing with different things popping up, you do not know what to expect from Rihanna.
