SUBJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
DESCRIPTION:
This course introduces the characteristics and applications of linear integratedcircuits. Topics include op-amp circuits, differential amplifiers, instrumentation
amplifiers, waveformgenerators, active filters, and IC voltage regulators. Upon completion, students should be ableto construct, analyse, verify, and troubleshoot
linear integrated circuits using appropriatetechniques and test equipment.
COURSE OBJECTIVES :
To design the single stage amplifiers using pmos and nmos driver circuits with differentloads.
To analyse high frequency concepts of single stage amplifiers and noise characteristicsassociated with differential amplifiers.
To study the different types of current mirrors and to know the concepts of voltage andcurrent reference circuits.
