Brief report on National Pharmacy Week

at Anand Pharmacy College, Anand.

NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK

15TH – 20TH FEBRUARY 2016




Anand Pharmacy College is having Indian Pharmaceutical Association- Anand

Branch of Gujarat State celebrated National Pharmacy Week from 15th Feb to

20th Feb 2016 at APC Campus.

Every year the Indaina Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) celebrates the

‘National Pharmacy Week’ (NPW) all over India in the third week of November.

IPA has been recommending that the activities and celebrations based on the

theme should continue the whole year round, with enthusiasm and zeal. This

will help us to give more time to our efforts, and also sustain it round the year.

The theme was: “Responsible use of antibiotics saves lives”.

Students actively participated and the whole National Pharmacy Week was

coordinated by Ms. Veena Patel.

two judges. External judges were also invited.

Speaking on a single topic

for 5 minutes might be

difficult, but not for these

fiery young guns, who had

the guts to take on the

judges and the audience

individually and yet keep

them interested in their

speech.

combination to judge on! Our topic was

“Responsible use of antibiotics saves

lives”. Number of students had wits to

participate but only two had to be

selected, those who could strike the right

Cord had to be the best of lot.

Competition

The ultimate test for all the

knowledge seekers and the

quizzers. They might really be

very great individually, but

they need to hit the

combination right and that’s

exactly what they did.




Treasure

Hunt

The ultimate quest for the

ultimate prize. To be a

treasure hunter is not

everyone’s cup of tea.

And this shows exactly

why. While some were

able to complete the

quest in a very short time,

some felt helpless even

after trying hard. The

ultimate team game.
