The founders of GMV, Sardar Avtar Singh and Mr. Jaideep Singh have been in business in Bhopal since 1957, initially engaged in petrochemical dealerships and mining. In 1989, they ventured into real estate with a plotting project by the name of Indraprasth along with Parivesh Housing Society. In 2000 the company established itself as Global Megaventures Pvt. Ltd. (GMV), and worked on its first major project, Suncity, Airport Road, a residential township of 102 duplexes. After Suncity, GMV developed Hamilton Court, a township of premium bungalows on a hillock, under Mahavir Giri, with panoramic views of the Upper Lake. The project was followed by Inner Court, which were a series of welldesigned luxury apartments with high-standard amenities.
