MASTER S PROGRAM IN ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY

Ancient Philosophy Master s Program

Applications for enrollment in the 2015 -16 Winter Semester are now being accepted. The Master s Program in Ancient Philosophy offers the opportunity to study the entire spectrum of ancient philosophy at one of the m ost renowned German universities under the guidance of leading international scholars. The program is a joint project of the Classics and Philosophy Departments of Ludwig -Maximilians -Universitt in Munich and is sustained by one of the arch communities in the field.

x Seminars cover ancient Greek and Roma n philosophy of all periods, the medieval recept ion in Latin and Arabic, and textual criticism.

x Seminars are offered in German and in English.

x Masters students enjoy intensive m entoring and the opportunity to present their research in colloquia.

x There are one and two year versions of the program.

x Applications are accepted until July 1, 2015.
