Going To SchoolKids start school at six or seven years old .They use wax tablets, scrolls, pens and ink. Girls and boys often learned how to swim. I never new you could learn how to swim in school.

Shops and Markets The shops and markets were often kept by

poor people and freed slaves. Rich people would go to the store to pick out a goose to be cooked for a feast . Rich Romans ate meat every day .

Building in the city.Stone to build was brought in by big carts .

Broken stone and rubble would go to a trash dumps . Tiles would be put on a brand new house or a house that was hit by a tornado or a storm .
