PSALM 41 Answer me when I call to you, O myrighteous God. Give me relief from mydistress; be merciful to me and hear myprayer.
2 How long, O men, will you turn my gloryinto shame ? How long will you lovedelusions and seek false gods ? Selah
3 Know that the Lord has set apart thegodly for himself; the Lord will hearwhen I call to him.
4 In your anger do not sin; when you areon your beds, search your hearts and besilent. Selah
5 Offer right sacrifices and trust in theLord .
6 Many are asking, "Who can show usany good?" Let the light of your faceshine upon us, O Lord .
7 You have filled my heart with greaterjoy than when their grain and new wineabound.
8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, foryou alone, O Lord , make me dwell insafety.
ACTS 312 When Peter saw this, he said to them:"Men of Israel, why does this surpriseyou? Why do you stare at us as if by ourown power or godliness we had madethis man walk?
13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,the God of our fathers, has glorified hisservant Jesus. You handed him over tobe killed, and you disowned him before

15 You killed the author of life, but Godraised him from the dead. We arewitnesses of this.
16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this manwhom you see and know was madestrong. It is Jesus' name and the faiththat comes through him that has giventhis complete healing to him, as you canall see.
17 "Now, brothers, I know that you actedin ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 But this is how God fulfilled what hehad foretold through all the prophets,saying that his Christ would suffer.
19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so thatyour sins may be wiped out, that timesof refreshing may come from the Lord.
