We wanted to create a final exam that would assess the SLOs for our course.

We started with each SLO and created exam items that assessed the SLO.

Rather than create a “practice test”, we created a “Final Exam Review”.

Each SLO was listed, followed by several example questions.

The majority of the exam is multiple choice and graded on

a ScanTron machine.

An Item Analysis is done to see which questions are being

missed the most often.
