Club Meeting SpaceThe SLC offers meeting space for the Student Review, and organized clubs and organizations. If you would like to book the SLC for your club meeting, call (708) 709-3910. Student Life enriches the College experience and helps prepare you for the future.

Get involved and join the students who are already enjoying the benefits of student activities. Along the way, you will have fun, develop lasting friendships , learn life skills, and benefit from the many rewarding experiences.

Your experience at PSC does not have to be limited to the classroom. Learning extends beyond academics and into student activities. Opportunities exist for leadership, volunteering, entertainment, and friendships. Getting involved is a great resume builder.

LockersYou can get a locker each semester. Just pay the $5 in the Business Office and bring your receipt to the SLC. We have lockers on the first, third and fourth floor.

Club Resource CenterThe SLC has a Club Resource Area where clubs can get all the forms they need for events and club business.

The mailboxes for the officers of SGA, the Newspaper staff and the clubs are also located in the SLC.

All postings must be approved by the Coordinator of Student Life.

The Student Leadership CenterThe Student Leadership Center (SLC) is located in Room 1260, down the hallway from the Welcome Center. The SLC welcomes all students who have any questions or comments concerning the school. We provide a pleasant atmosphere that allows students to work and interact with others.

The SLC serves as a hub for the Campus Programming Board (CPB), the Student Review newspaper, The Student Government Associaton, and all recognized clubs and organizations. The office of the Coordinator of Student Life is Room 1260/62 in the SLC, telephone number is (708) 709-3910 or email hmanley@prairiestate.edu.

Voter RegistrationIf you are interested in registering to vote, you can register online at: www.election.il.gov\infoforvotes.aspx. You will also find the link on the PSC website on the Student Government and Student Life pages.

You can also register in person with the Student Government Association Program Director during her office hours: Mondays: 1pm – 2pm and Tuesdays: Noon – 1pm in the Student Leadership Center (Room 1260/1261).
