Holy God, you have gathered us close, close enough to feel you. And you have scattered us afar, to be a patchwork quilt of humanity. Your Spirit dwells in the hearts of every person, ready to radiate love and to be loved. We don’t always see that in the people around us. We confess we prefer our own definition of “neighbor” to yours because ours is easier. Help us know you through the neighbors you put before us. We are in need of your interrupting grace to tug at us, compel us to hear you through their voices and see you through their presence. Hear our silent confession in the quiet center of this space...

Featured Artist: Jean HeidenreichJean Heidenreich is a calligrapher, watercolorist, and creator of paintings using acrylic paints and inks. Her objective is to create a variety of interesting textures, shapes and colors and arrange them on paper in unusual ways. Her work as an artist has included teaching calligraphy classes for 29 years, demonstrating lettering at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for over 25 years and creating her own greeting card line sold locally and a card line for a national card company.

Missional Parking at HennepinTo be an inviting congregation and welcome people on our campus, we need to continue being missional about how we park at Hennepin. Please prioritize the church parking lot for our new guests, people with mobility issues, and families with infants and young children. We ask all able-bodied members/longtime guests to please park in the Alliiance lots (on either side of 400 Clifton Ave.), use street parking, or use the underground Walker ramp (paid vouchers available at Reception).
