To use this faci l i ty on your Android mobi le

you need to instal l WhatsFake app from

Google Play store.

After instal l ing this app when you f irst t ime

opens i t has a blank screen with a message

No Chat.

Cl ick on the Pen mark present above the

message, then you are able to create a new

fake prof i le. That fake prof i le is only vis ible

to your device not for the ent ire user.

In the screen for creat ing the fake prof i le

you just need to f i l l two columns in the prof i le

sect ion. In name f ie ld just enter the name in

which you create the fake WhatsApp conver-

sat ion account and then in the photo f ie ld

Get into airplane mode

The less your phone has to do, the more quickly itll

recharge so at the very least, enable airplane mode

on your device to speed up charging. Depending on

your device, there could be various ways to get to

this. For example, on my Nexus 5, I simply long press

on the power button, and select airplane mode when

it appears. You can also go into the Quick Settings,

by swiping down with two fingers. Every device is

different, but you most likely know how to turn it on.

Airplane mode blocks any wireless radios on your

device, which means you wont receive any calls,

messages, internet access etc, but its all worth it when

you think youll have a device that will still be on for

the next few hours.

Don't use wireless charging

Wireless charging has still not become mainstream,

but certain high-end Android devices do come with

this feature built-in. While there is no denying the fact

that wireless charging is convenient, you should also

keep in mind that it is slower than the traditional

wired charger. Wireless charging is best suited for

situations when you just want to top up your phones

battery at a leisurely pace.

Switch off unnecessary features

Check to see if you have any unnecessary features

on, such as Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi or NFC. Close all

your apps and stop your phone from doing any auto-

matic backups or updating apps from the Google Play

Store.

5.0 Lollipop

Dont switch it off

One tip that most people tend to know and follow

to quickly charge their device, is to switch it off. This

reduces the additional battery drain from the modem

and other components of the smartphone, which in

You just spent all that time cleaning up your home

new apps dont crash the party.

You can find a vast selection of custom boot anima-

tions from simple graphic animations to animations

that make your phone feel retro or pay homage to

another device like a Playstation 2.

Changing Boot Animation on Android with App

We are going to be using an app called Boot Ani-

mations that will help us change the boot animation

on our Android device easily.

Head over to the Google Play store and install the

Boot Animations app on your device.

Launch the app on your device.

When the app launches, tap on the Server section

if you are not already there. This is where all the boot

animations are available for you to install. Just tap on

any boot animation on the list.

A menu should pop up with a couple of options for

you to choose from. Tap the first one that says In-

stall. It will install the boot animation on your device.

Sit back and relax, as the app will now automatically

download and install the selected boot animation.

When it is done installing it, restart your device to

see the changes.

Changing Boot Animation on Android Manually

Well this second method is little bit tricky but will

your boot animation using the above method.

Install any free File Manager application, just making

a search for Xplore or something else that works best

Now navigate to /system/media and search for the

original bootanimation.zip file that will be present

there.

Now just press and hold on the file for little and

choose Rename option, now simple rename the file

as "bootanimation.zip1"

Now you need to copy the downloaded file to /sy-

stem/media and then you need to make sure that the

file name is bootanimation.zip for it to work perfectly.
