DESCRIPTION

Presentation of the ANDY ROXBURGH – The UEFA TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, OF THE ROLL OF THE FOOTBALL COACH.Never to late to say again – THANKS to OUR VERY GOOD FRIEND Prof. ANDREW (ANDY) ROXBURGH!Passing through all stages of development of the elite intellectual football coaches, Prof. ANDY ROXBURGH, HAVE BEEN AND HE IS THE LEADER OF THIS GENERATIONS AT THE END OF THE 20 CENTURY AND BEGINNING OF THE 21ST CENTURY!The subject THE ROLL AND FUNCTIONS OF THE ELITE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL COACHES is a difficult, professional, educational, and scientific, need for that, we decided to RE-ORGANIZE THE SUPERB MATERIAL, AND GIVEN TO THE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL COACHES WITHOUT FRONTIERS AS HOMEWORK!Please, try to understand, that nobody knows everything about football! We know something and we need something else to add to our knowledge and make us more professionals.In the same time, we are happy, that, we arranged the material, as PROFILES and the COACHES WITHOUT FRONTIERS to fill-up the profiles and understand that the material is useful to anyone involved in football!But the most important aspect of this material, practically, for the professional coaches, is to compare themselves with the super-stars coaches and:1. EVALUATE themselves;2. DIAGNOSE the value of the coaches: qualities, weaknesses and 3. IMPLEMENT INTO LIFE: DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS, YEARS, PROFESSIONAL LIFE! Of course, we are very much interested that everything we are doing with SOCCER ACADEMY OF AMERICA and their preparation program for coaches (as one of the most effective, “COACHES WITHOUT FRONTIERS”), is to understand, to accept and get as much as we can, the GIANTS-COACHES’ PERSONALITY ASPECTS!Finally, personal, SOCCER ACADEMY OF AMERICA, COACHES WITHOUT FRONTIERS, all declared or/and undeclared readers, we need to thank – again – to Prof. Andy Roxburgh for his work, value of common –sense, MODERN CONCEPT OF PERFORMANCE, friendship to the world of football, for his exceptional football contribution to the world of football intellectual coaches personalities! Thanks indeed, brother....Andy!Enjoy!Dr. Victor Stanculescu & Dr. Victor-Julian StanculescuChicago-2013

Presentation by Andy Roxburgh UEFA Technical Director

XXVIII UEFT Symposium 15 – 19 September 2007

Helsinki THE ROLE OF THE COACH

Lessons from the top

The following profile is a composition made by the AAFF:

1. We selected all football coaches’ Andy Roxburgh shows us in his demonstrations.

2. We arranged in a table, in order of the first “professional common sense”;

3. We evaluate all of them with the maximum mark (10). As international football coaches role models.

4. In the Observation we made some appreciations, as we can see from outside. It’s just a point of view, evaluate at the maximum professional value.

5. You can give them other marks, as you want and describe as you know them (this is just a professional individual exercise.)

Try to do the same with your fellow coaches and even with football players, helping them to understand the top coaches’ personalities.
