Angle Head

Angle Heads have been developed for milling complex part geometries, complex milling inside parts and simple boring in a missing machine axis. Angle Heads must be used with a stop block and are designed to work with automatic tool changers. Our Angle Head tooling line was developed in cooperation with our parent company, EWS Tool Technologies, headquartered in Uhingen, Germany. All Angle Head tooling is manufactured and serviced at our Ramsey, Minnesota facility.

variations: basic, duplex & offset

Stop Block

The stop block is pre-mounted on the machine and prevents the tool head from turning on the tool holder/shank. The stop block also maintains the angular position of the tool holder during automatic tool changing.
