Members studying an agricultural based degree, diploma or certificate at a registered institution who have a commitment to the Australian Beef Industry and the Angus Breed are encouraged to apply. Each scholarship recipient will receive $1,000 to help cover the costs associated with studying (for example, textbooks, equipment, college etc). The aim of this scholarship is to: • Increase the recipient’s knowledge of the Angus breed and the beef industry as a whole • To assist Angus Australia members to complete further tertiary study • Increase the recipient’s knowledge of the Australian agricultural industry Eligibility • Applicants must be members of Angus Youth/Angus Australia (membership form may be completed with application) • Applicants must be enrolled in or applying for study in any accredited tertiary agriculture related course at an approved Australian education provider • Applicants will need to demonstrate how a scholarship would assist them in achieving their education or training goal How to Apply To apply for this scholarship please complete the necessary application form found on the Angus Youth website, www. angusaustralia.com.au. Applicants will then be shortlisted, notified and interviewed by telephone.
