Pharmaceuticals and especially in Veterinary. The experience of more then quarter of century in

the Veterinary Sales and Marketing has educated us that What is the requirement of the

present in the veterinary industry?

While the pharmaceutical companies of the world were working towards introducing newer

generations of the antibiotics/antibacterial or new derivatives of antinflamatories or by just

altering the combinations of supplements & anthelmintics to improve productivity, we touched the

basic: How to increase the female population of Cattle and Buffaloes?

Dr. Balwinder Singh Aulakh, our Director and the Discoverer of the unique product Aulprofem- A

female sex fixer gave to the world of Veterinary what is close to the revolution. The product

Aulprofem not only will help to increase the productivity of animals by increasing the number of

female animals but will also address the social menace of Male cow sibling slaughter. Today when

India is reeling through a serious problem of milk availability and spurious milk in the market is

playing havoc, increasing the female bovine population will be the only alternative.

The product Aulprofem- A female sex fixer is a commitment to the mankind not only to

increase the economic status of the individuals but of the Nations too.

The product Aulprofem- A female sex fixer is a discovery, which will change the total face

The product has been tried at various locations under the guidance of Government officials

apart from having been tried at farmers level.

The results in Tamil Nadu (Trials conducted by Animal Husbandry Department at Vellore &

Kanchivaram under the guidance of The Commissioner AHD) have been 81%.

Two Trials conducted at Bikaner by Dr. J.S. Mehta, Head Gynecology and Obstetrics has

yielded 92% & 83% results.

Trials conducted by Dr. Bhongare, Nagpur on 24 animals by Embryo Transplant Technology

gave 100% results.

Trials on 1200 animals in Punjab were conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department and

the results have been very encouraging.

All the trials and their results mentioned above have been compiled in form of a book and

submitted along with the proposal.

J&K government is planning to purchase the product under the central government schemeof Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) and also have put in the list of Animal Husbandry

purchase.

If Government considers providing benefit to only 60% of Breedable Animals of AP byproviding Aulprofem the scenario will be:

60% of 84.00 Lakh Breedable Animals - 50.4 Lakh Animals

80% Females with Aulprofem - 40.32 Lakh Animals

Additional Females with Aulprofem - 17.7 Lakh Animals

Additional Milk value - 3330 crore

(The returns will come in 30 months, 9 months incubation period and 18-22 maturity

period for production)

Cost of Aulprofem ONLY - 227 crore

On a simplistic estimate this means that by investing just 227 crore for Aulprofem,

farmers will be getting back Rs. 3330 crores and earn additional profit of Rs. 148.5

crore on monthly basis. This is not short of revolutionizing the entire agricultural

economy of Andhra Pradesh.

PS: The value of milk has been considered @ Rs.20 per litre as the base procurement cost by

societies; at farmer level where the direct selling is existing the revenue generation will be

much higher

Annexure

Salient Features of Aulprofem:

Important features:

Presentation: 225 ml PET bottle.

Dose: 225 ml single dose (Avg. weight up to 550 Kgs.) every time AI is done.

Application: By Oral route.

Expiry of the product: 12 months after manufacturing month.

For best results: Administer during half an hour before Artificial Insemination and within an

hour after Natural Service.

Administer unmixed with any other material other then water of equivalent volume and avoid

spillage and loss.

Store in optimum conditions and avoid exposure to temperature above 30 degree Celsius.

Make sure animal is not faking heat and pregnant already.

Mode of action & mechanism of Sex fixing: Aulprofem is well proven and mode of action is

scientifically well established. The ethonoate (Active constituent) supplementation from Aulprofem

blocks the Y-sperms H-Y antigen binding specific antibody receptors on the body of the ovum. This

rules out the chances of Y-sperms to bind with the ovum and as a result the non H-Y antigens

present on the bodies of X-sperms get a chance to conjugate with the receptor antibody sites on

the ovum and the X X binding of zygote is achieved and a female zygote conceived. The accuracy of

this technique is near absolute. The Y chromosome have H-Y specific antigen binding sites which are

absent on X chromosomes. The X chromosome thus has all binding sites available i.e. the non H-Y

site on the ovum producing only XX zygote.

Supplement Schedule:

Cows: 225 ml (average body weight 350-550 kg).

As per the data, Andhra Pradesh has fairly high number of Bovine (Both Cattle & Buffaloes)amongst all the states and accounts for 7% of the total bovine population in India. The per capita

milk availability in AP at 260 grams in 2005 is also higher than the per capita milk availability of

India at 241 grams but it is much lower than the progressive states like Haryana (628 grams), HP

(373 grams), Gujarat (349 grams) and J&K (353 grams). Although the state produces contributes

fourth highest to the total milk production of the country but due to higher population per capita

availability has reduced. UP happens to be the highest milk producing state followed by Punjab &

Rajasthan.

Proposal for Boosting Rural & National economy with Aulprofem:

As per the Data of 2003 the bovine population in Andhra Pradesh has marginally degrown over 1997by just 1.5% from 2.03 crore in 1997 to 2.00 crore in 2003. The Breedable bovine population has

also grown by 6% in the corresponding period. In 2003 the Breedable cattle were 27 lakh and

Breedable buffaloes 57 lakhs totaling to 84 lakh.

Developing Andhra Pradesh with a dairy booster: Animal husbandry has been taken up as an

integral component of diversified agriculture. Any endeavor to increase the bovine population will

result in the overall economic growth of the state.

Total bovine population - 200.00 Lakh Animals

42% Breeding Animals - 84.00 Lakh Animals

45% Females in normal Breeding - 37.85 Lakh Animals


Additional Female Animals - 29.45 Lakh Animals

Average Milk Production - 3.5 Liters per Animal

Incremental Milk - 278 crore liters in one Lactation

Value of incremental milk @ Rs.20/kg - 5565 crore
