WePhoto - 2016 - Animals - Vol 1

Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photo-graphic work of the 10 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Sin-ce then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Spe-cial edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calen-dars 2016.

This new collection – The Series - is made of diffe-rent eBooks, each one (or more than one if requi-red) related to a specific photographic theme, in-cluding the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the first eBook of the Fifth line of this new collection and has been dedicated to Animals Photography.

Il primo volume di questa nuova line ci introduce in un mondo FANTASTICO. Un mondo nel quale siamo nati ma di cui, ormai, sappiamo pochissimo.

Animali: Un mondo di colori ed emozioni, raccontato in modo INCREDIBILE dagli Autori che qui presentiamo, a cui mando un segno della mia Stima e dei miei ringraziamenti.

In età matura, l’hobby giovanile della fotografia si trasforma anche in professione, sebbene a tempo parziale, poiché condivisa con l’attività principale. Partecipa a stage e workshop di aggiornamento su tecniche fotografiche e di ap-postamento, con particolare riguardo alla fotogra-fia naturalistica.

Lives and works in Milan since 1984. His artistic sensitivity is oriented at the observation of details, the admiration of nature and its creatures, and landscapes.  In his mature age, his photographic hobby of his youth transforms itself also into a pro-fession, even if on a partial basis, as it is shared with his principal activity.  He attends updating sta-ges and workshops on photographic techniques and wild watching, as regards to nature photography.

Cinquantotto anni, vive e lavora a San Marino. Da oltre vent’anni è impegnato nel sociale, ed è in pri-ma linea sul fronte della cooperazione internazio-nale e nella difesa dell’ambiente e degli animali. In questi ambiti ha documentato con video e foto-grafie varie realtà in America Latina e le battaglie del movimento animalista italiano. Solo recente-mente ha iniziato una propria ricerca fotografica con soggetto prevalente la natura, in particolare esplorando le magie del microcosmo, gli animali e il misterioso mondo del volo degli uccelli.

Now fifty-eight years old, he lives and works in San Marino. For over twenty years he has been in-volved in social work and is at the forefront of in-ternational cooperation and the protection of the environment and animals. In this regard, he has documented various situations in Latin America and the battles of the Italian animal rights move-ment using video and photography. He only star-ted his own photographic research recently, which is mainly focused on nature, and in particular an exploration of the magic of the microcosm, the animals and the mysterious world of bird flight.

Quando ho portato a casa il mio primo gatto non avrei mai pensato che Sissi avrebbe cambiato il mio modo di guardare il mondo attraverso l'obietti-vo della mia fotocamera. Da allora i gatti sono di-ventati il mio soggetto preferito, soprattutto i gatti delle colonie feline. Trovo affascinante il modo in cui si muovono con eleganza tra i detriti degli edifi-ci abbandonati, la loro grazia risalta ancora di più in luoghi dove noi umani non oseremmo mettere piede. I gatti delle colonie feline sono fieri e orgo-gliosi ed eleganti, quando si guarda nei loro occhi si capisce subito che sono esseri speciali. La mia fotografia vuole condurre lo spettatore in un mon-do a lui sconosciuto, un mondo lontano da quello dei gatti domestici, ricco di fascino e mistero.

I live in San Dona' Di Piave (VE).When I brought ho-me my first cat I never thought that Sissi would change the way I look at the world through the len-ses of my camera. Since then cats have become my favorite subject, especially stray cats. I love the way they move with their elegant steps in abando-ned buildings, their grace is highlighted in places where humans wouldn’t even dare go. Feral cats are fierce and proud and elegant, when you look into their eyes you know immediately that you are connecting with someone very special. My pictu-res want to show you an unknown world, which is not the traditional world of our family cats, nonet-heless it is enchanting and mysterious.

Vivo con la mia famiglia in un piccolo paese chiamato Pivero-ne (TO) situato vicino alle montagne insieme a quattro cani; tre di loro sono border collie mentre uno, il più anziano, è un meticcio.Ho 44 anni e sono un ingegnere libero professionista e foto-grafo professionista (due lavori, ingegnere alla mattina e fo-tografo al pomeriggio e la notte).Amo fotografare cani in azione (quella che io chiamo “dogs in action”) e vorrei trasmettere l’energia che c’è in ogni ca-ne. Questa é la mia “mission” (il mio progetto).Per me è molto importante fermare un istante capace di rac-contare cosa il cane ha fatto fino al momento dello scatto e cosa il cane farà poco dopo mostrando una scena dinamica. Questo è il mio punto di vista come una piccola storia.Ogni foto deve trasmettermi qualcosa di forte e speciale per prima cosa e poi posso pensare di mostrarla agli altri. Spero che le persone che guarderanno le mie foto vi troveranno qualcosa da leggere e se questo avverrà sarò molto felice e soddisfatto perchè il risultato sarà raggiunto!

I have a family and we live in a small village called Pive-

rone (TO) near mountain with four dogs, three of them

are girls of Border Collie and one them, the older, is a

fantasy dog.

I’m 44 yo and I'm an engineer freelance too as well as

professional photographer (two jobsÖengineer in the

morning and photographer in the afternoon and in the

night).

I love shooting dogs in action.... and i would like to com-

municate the action and the energy of each dog. This is

my mission/project.

For me it's very important freeze an instant able to tell

what the dog has done until the moment of the shutter

release and what he is going to do showing a dynamic

situation...this is my point of view like a little story.

Each photo must tell me something strong and should

tell me something special first and then i could think to

show it to others people. So i hope people will find so-

mething to read in my photos. If this will happen i will be

very happy and satisfied because the goal will be rea-

ched!

Mi pia-ce fotografare gli animali, ma i cani sono in assolu-to i miei preferiti!! Adoro come si relazionano con le persone e le loro espressioni divertenti quando gli parli, sembra che cerchino sempre di capire ogni parola che dici, questo mi fa impazzire!! Mi piace inoltre elaborare le mie foto in modo creati-vo, quasi a portare i miei modelli pelosi in un mon-do fantastico e fatato ?

I’m a 34 year old Medical Doctor and I live in Pa-dua, Italy, where I was born; I bought my first ca-mera about two years ago and I started learning the basics of photography mainly to take pictures of my two beloved German Shepherd dogs, Trudi and Tano. I love taking pictures of animals, but dogs are my favourites! I love the way they relate to their owners and their funny expressions when youíre talking to them, they seem to try to under-stand every single words and this makes me crazy!!! I love also editing my pictures in a creative way, just to make them living in a fantastic and fairy world ?

Mi chiamo Corrado Corradini, ho 61 anni e vivo in Lom-

bardia.

Ho fatto il fotografo di professione per otto anni presso

un’affermata agenzia foto giornalistica di Milano. Duran-

te quegli anni mi sono occupato di sport seguendo nume-

rosi eventi di varie discipline, di spettacolo, di cronaca

etc.

Esaurito l’entusiasmo iniziale per il lavoro, diventato

ormai di routine e molto poco creativo, ho abbandonato

la fotografia per circa vent’anni.

Per gioco e per documentazione, nel 2009, con una picco-

la digitale, ho dovuto fare qualche scatto ed è stato co-

me ritrovare un grande Amore mai dimenticato.

Oggi scatto libero da ogni vincolo, solo per divertimento,

ed è fantastico. Il digitale poi, per chi ha esperienza sul-

l’analogico, è il paese delle meraviglie.

Non sono un foto naturalista. Considero le mie foto re-

Hello, my name is Corrado Corradini, I'm 61 years old

and I live in Lombardy.

I have been a professional photographer for eight years

at a successful photojournalistic agency located in Mi-

lan.

During those years I have worked as sport photographer,

as well as show business photogapher, news and so

on...

Out of the initial enthusiasm for the job, which then had

become pure routine and very little creative, I abandoned

the profession for about twenty years.

In 2009, for the fun, I had to make some shots with a

small digital camera and it was like finding a great Love

never forgotten.

Today, free from every constraint, I shot just for fun and

it's fantastic. Furthermore I must say that the digital

technology, to those with analogic experience, It's a kind

of wonderland.

I'm not a wildlife photographer. I consider my photo as

reportage.
