I have worked tenaciously in meeting and delivering to deadlines, working independently and within teams, taking advice and direction from my university lecturers and current managers to enhance and add improvements to all of my productions and work. Desktop Publisher at Volkswagen National Learning Centre: July 2016 to Present Work with design guidelines, creating work booklets and presentation that follow the company colours and the correct specifications Interact with different departments within the training centre to obtain the correct information and get out the course materials for their deadlines. Improved my graphic and design skills, learning more about layout and text placement 2 weeks work experience at “Catfish Collective” Animation Studio in London: July 2014. I contributed to making props and models, and helped out with designing typography for the different shots. I received positive feedback and learnt more about the industry of animation. 1 week work experience at RJDM Studio’s in Northampton: August 2014. Worked within their client briefs helping out with pre-production. Learnt new animation techniques and developed my skills on After Effects and Photoshop. Gained valuable lessons about working within a professional environment and how to time manage with live client briefs BBC Radio 4‘s Listening Projects animation commission: “Raised by wolves?”. This was a group university project that was selected to be featured on BBC’s national website. My role within the group was an inbetweener animator and the producer, from 0:12 to 0:24. The final animation can be shown at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03fy56t Norwich Mustard TV sting animation commission. An animation done in university for Norwich’s local television station. This animation focused on the aesthetic of Norwich and Norfolk. In a partnership, we created a paper-cut animation showing Norfolk bird wildlife and the array of teashops and cafe’s in Norwich. Norwich Cinema City Studio Ghibli Project Animation Loop A loop created to show during Norwich Cinema City’s Studio Ghibli season. This 25 frame loop was showcased on the big screen between films. My loop focused on the character Ponyo from the film “Ponyo”.

Attended a Vanarts’ Story, Design and Animation Masterclass, August 2014With Pixar Lecturers, over a period of 3 days, I learnt invaluable knowledge across the three disciplines. This was an unique experience, learning from professional from within the Pixar studio. A great deal of insight was gained which will be applied and taken into my remaining years of my animation degree.

Attendance at a one week summer school in Animation at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Theatre, Film and Television: August 2012• Worked independently on my own Animation film, to produce animation reels and taking constructive criticism and applying advice to enhance and improve my film skills• Interacted with new people, learning to develop my communication skills and gained lifelong friends.Working at a 1950’s Anaheim Walt Disney Animation Studios desk was a highlight of my trip.
