It has been assured that, preference will be given tolocals for jobs in the proposed project
It has been informed that all the following pollutioncontrol measures will be strictly followed andimplemented in the plant premises. A stack height of 38 m will be provided for 10 TPH
boiler for effective dispersion of emissions intothe atmosphere. Bagfilters will be provided forbringing down PM emission to less than 50mg/Nm3
The spent wash generated will be treated in Biodigester followed by Multiple effect Evaporators(MEE) followed by Bio-composting. This is totallya “Zero Effluent Discharge” based proventechnology which is also approved by the CentralPollution Control Board (CPCB) and The MinistryOf Environment, Forests h& Climate change
Acoustic enclosure will be provided to STG. All themachinery will comply with noise levels stipulatedby MOEF vide notification dated 14-02-2000. Themajor noise levels will be confined to the workingzones of the proposed Distillery plant.
Ear plugs/mufflers will be provided to allemployees who will enter into the noise prone

He informed that there are unemployed peoplewaiting for employment in pollution free atmosphereand for job opportunities. He also stated that pollutionproblems can be avoided by effective controlmeasures and requested the management to take upall mitigating measures

He welcomed the project & requested themanagement to give priority for employment to thelocal villagers and strictly follow pollution controlboard norms
4. Sri Peta Raju,Chowtkur village
He welcomed the project &requested themanagement to follow pollution control measures andalso requested to preference should be given to localyouth in all sectors of employment

Hence there will not beany adverse impact on the surrounding environment dueto the proposed project.

He suggested that least one person should beemployed from each house hold.

He welcomed the project and stressed on the need forproviding employment to local youth. He alsosuggested developing greenbelt of 33% of the totalarea and also taking up developmental activities likeinstallation of water purifier, conducting medicalcamps for people health checkup.
Greenbelt of 5.7 acres (34% of total area 16.7 acres) willbe developed to mitigate air and noise emissions.It was assured that as per the stipulations of Govt. ofIndia, developmental activities will be taken up in thesurrounding villages as per need base assessment.
