From 29th June through 3rd July 1986, an inter- national symposium on cavernous sinus will be held in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia. The First Arctic Stereotactic Workshop, 30 June-3 July, 1986, Umel, Sweden. From June 30 to July 3, 1986 a stereotactic workshop will be held in Umea, Sweden. The aim of the Workshop is to give neurosur- geons of the world an up-to-date concept of stereotactic neurosurgery including the latest development in the CT and MRI determination of brain targets as well as in external stereotactic irradiation with a conventional linear accelera- tor. A substantial part of the Workshop is devo- ted to practical exercise in ventriculography- guided, and CT, MRI and angiography-guided stereotaxis where the brain target is reached either through a burrhole or by means of exter- nal irradiation. To achieve the aim of the Work- shop the number of participants will be limited to 50.
