Annual Clean-up Day

For Our SCHOENSTATT LAND A Beautiful Place - with your help!

Needed: Volunteers needed to beautify / tidy up around the Schoenstatt Wayside Shrine, the future site of the “Schoenstatt Sacred Park,” located near the Historic Trails on Hwys. 421 and 18 northwest of the intercession of State Road 25 in Delphi. This will be a much needed preparation for the planting of flowers in May.

Date: Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 10:00-12:00, please bring your own tools and trash bags.

Meeting Place: All volunteers are asked to report to the Schoenstatt Wayside Shrine, Our Mother of the Eucharist, at 10am, located on Hwys 421 and 18 northwest of the intersection of State Road 25 in Delphi.

What: We will be removing trash, brush and debris. The big jobs will involve pruning, raking, bagging and chain saw work (by adults) to make our shrine area more beautiful for those who drop in to visit our site. Children working together with parents or teachers as part of church groups, 4-H clubs, scout troops and others are invited to participate. Great volunteer points for those receiving Confirmation this year. Please bring your own equipment. FLOWERS: This could be a time to plant some beautiful flowers too if you would like to donate them!

Important Information: We encourage you to bring your own tools. Please mark them with your name before you come. Dress appropriately in work clothes-long pants, work shoes, gloves and other protective wear. Children should work together with parents or teachers. No pets please.
