Are there any strategic lesions learnt that other might benefit from hearing? What changes to your tactics are needed, if any?

- In the previous year, campaign staff ignored the aspect of awareness during community session,

therefore; re-naming it as sensitization and mobilization sessions would be more appropriate - While undergoing community awareness sessions in urban and rural target areas of Punjab, it

was an observation there should have been IEC material and tool kit for instance charts, documentary and brouchers with thematic information on the subject.

- Women led theater performances could not work due to lack of women theater members from the rural target districts of Punjab, moreover; women theater members also could not undergone the women led theater. There was a clear hindrance of culture and lack of orientation and sensitization regarding female participation in theater performances by the local society.

- There must be more growers’ festivals as this activity engages a large number of stakeholders and create a broader impact.

- Use of local print and electronic media to support the district level activities could have been more frequent.

- Plantation volunteer move was a very effective activity with multiple impacts. By increasing the outreach, coordination and budget of the plantation activity, mega joint ventures could be sought.

- The theater groups have gone through capacity building however they need to be refreshed on some other tools, i.e. street theater etc.

- TV talk show and community theater performances should be recorded and broadcast on local cable tv. District forum members of DG Khan and Rajanpur have volunteered to coordinate with local cable provider

-
