Environment Achievements
We at Raje Shivaji English School take environmental education very seriously and impart sufficient knowledge & awareness among the students so that they will help in conservation of the environment in their lives to come.
We have a Rain water harvesting system at the school premises. The water collected from this system is then used for activities in school. This helps us in preserving water and the same is taught to students.
Waste Segregation is another important activity which is conducted in school. Aurangabad in general is facing waste management issues and lack of awareness is a factor. We at Raje Shivaji English School have separate bins to collect dry / solid waste, and wet / organic waste. We educate the students to use them accordingly and do the same at their homes as well.
Efficient Energy usage is another subject that is very important, as it effects environment in a big way. At the school premises every student is taught to use the electrical only when utmost necessary and to switch it off immediately when not in use. This value when inculcated in students is replicated at their homes as well. Students are also taught about the use of renewal resources of energy and how this can affect their lives.
