Safe Environment Training is required for all

school parents and grandparents who volunteer

for lunch duty, classroom helpers, sports or club

assistants, library helpers, fieldtrip chaperones or

any occasion where an adults volunteer on

campus. The Diocese of Phoenix offers a 3 hour

class called “Protecting God’s Children” at

various parishes in the area. Once you complete

the 3 hour course, each year following you must

update your training by taking on online course.

All adults who volunteer at Annunciation in any

capacity are required to complete or update their

training. If you have not, you will not be

permitted to volunteer to assist with student

related activities during the school day or at

school events.

For more information please visit

http://www.safeenvironmenttraining.org/ and

click on Register for Classes. The school office

will be confirming your class completion before

you can volunteer on campus. Thank you for your

volunteerism and for keeping our students safe!

perfect fit. Mrs. Duarte has a

Bachelor’s degree in Spanish

and holds a current AZ

teaching certificate for English, Spanish and French.

Mrs. Duarte’s teaching duties will include two Spanish

classes per week for grades 5-8. She is also interested in

New Uniform Order Pick Up

If you ordered uniforms in May, our orders will be ready for

pick up after all masses on Sunday, August 16 and at open

house on Monday, August 17. We will also be selling

used uniforms from the uniform closet, ACS hats, & in stock

spirit shirts.

We will be taking uniform orders once again in October for

items you may have missed, like cold weather attire (long

sleeves, pants, hoodies, cardigans). A special thanks to our

Uniform Closet volunteers, Danielle Paluscio and Christina

Ryan for keeping our students in the latest and greatest

ACS gear!

We will be accepting used uniforms in clean and good

condition for our back to school uniform closet resale in

August.

If you are ready to clear out the old items and make room for

the new, bring your gently used, washed uniforms to the

school office beginning Monday, July 21.

If you need uniform assistance please contact

Danielle at [email protected].
