Another Fine Vintage Piano From KeyArts Houston

CONCORD UPRIGHT PLAYER PIANO, c. 1890

Fitted with original Ivory Key tops, Includes c.80 player rolls. It has been upgraded with electric motor. Also playable by manual bellows pump. Player system functions well.

Purchased in Australia but built in the USA. Tiger stripe oak wood. Very rare instrument.

History Details

Geo. P. Bent piano company Est. 1870. This company manufactured the Geo. P Bent, Crown, Concord, and Blackstone pianos Chicago. 1889 made his first piano the “Crown”, stopped

making pianos in 1928 or 1929. Eventually acquired by Adler Mfg. Co. of Louisville, KY in the mid 1920s. This Concord upright, SN: 1957, was probably built c. 1890.

General Conditions

Player system in very good repair. Piano is in a remarkable state of preservation with original parts and strings. Ivory key tops are virtually perfect. The piano will need detailing and

cleaning, tuning and some regulation or can be used as is.
