Bevacizumab & Mammakarzinom – Status quo
• 2007: E2100 (offen) Tax wkl +Bev: +6Mo PFS• 2008: FDA approval HER2/neu- met. BC• 2 Folgestudien (RCT): PFS Gewinn gering (1-3

fehlender Verlängerung des OS und erhöhter NWs
Zulassung: First-line HER2/neu neg., met. BC+ Paclitaxel oder Capecitabine
Empfehlungen
...none of these studies demonstrate an increase in overall survival or quality of life when analyzed alone or in a meta-analysis combining the trials.424 The increase in PFS with bevacizumab is modest, and appears the greatest in combination with paclitaxel, especially as reported in an unpublished analysis provided to the FDA.425
Bei Einsatz von Paclitaxel oder Capecitabine als zytostatische Erstlinientherapie bei metastasiertem Mammakarzinom kann zur Verbesserung des Therapieerfolges zusätzlich Bevacizumab eingesetzt werden.
