popular form of military Kukri with Gurkhas serving with the

British and Indian Armies throughout WWII. Most being

manufactured post 1929 and like this example the majority do

with letter of identification by the Norfolk Museums and

Archaeology Service, found on the East Coast of England.

Tooth, these dates to around 120,000 years ago, a lovely example

found on the British coast, the tooth has fractured into two piece

with many fragments remaining. A rare prehistoric Mammoth

tooth. Roman and Medieval pottery shards, a large quantity in a

fragment of a 17th century padlock and book clasp showing a

large circular stamp of a rose, Roman Slegeware and a Cast

Borre - Style disc brooch, common of the type found around East

Anglia and a mixed group of metal buckles etc. Metal Detector

finds including: a Polden Hill brooch (folded wing ends type), an

incomplete lock bolt, Lozengiform horse harness pendant and a

tip of a spearhead. -A.F. Turner Ltd Brass plaque, Wellington

Works Dudley, a Victorian or early 20th century brass plaque

which would have been mounted on a Safe which this works

produced. An excellent clean example. Prehistoric Horse tooth

Fossil found on the East Coast of England. In excellent

condition. Victorian Cavalry/Artillery Horses Mouth Bit, a steel

piece with the brass badges mounted on the sides with the 'VR'

insignia. Sadly, seems to be incomplete.

Returns Policy

We do not accept any returns on specifically German medals and Militaria. These items are

considered ‘sold as seen’ and should only be bought in full knowledge and acceptance of these terms.

Neither do James and Sons accept returns of bulk Lots. Please ensure you have viewed items

thoroughly.

Caveat Emptor

The buyer must fully satisfy themselves as to the description, genuineness; condition or value of any Lot(s)

and shall not rely upon Catalogue, images or upon any statement made by James and Sons regarding any

Lot.
