What a great night we had for Shake,Rattle & Soul and our Roy Orbisontribute on October 22! The dinner waswonderful and the music was

outstanding. This was our “Christmas in October”event with proceeds buying gifts for children that mayget little or nothing for Christmas. Thank you to all whosupported this event and a huge thank you to all thevolunteers that cooked, served, and cleaned up! Wewere sold out to capacity. A word to the wise for thefuture – buy your tickets ahead or you could bemissing out.

Join us for breakfast on Sunday, November 6, 9-11.We’ll be serving up scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage,fresh waffles, egg muffins, biscuits and gravy, andbeverages. Can’t you already smell the bacon?

In keeping with our passion for children at Christmas,our annual Toy Drive is Saturday November 19starting at 5 pm. We’re serving hamburgers, hot dogs,and the fixins for a $10 or more toy or a $10 donation.We will also hold an always-fun Cake Walk! Anyoneis free to bring a cake to donate and stay to participatein a good time. Then stick around for music by BrownSuga, Vince Brown. How much fun can you have inone day? And it’s all to bring smiles to the kids!

October had been a real busy month andcan't wait to see how busy this month willbe. So be sure to check the calendar tosee all that is happening.

Our mortgage meter hasn't moved to much since lastnewsletter but I know we will get there. Again, thankyou for all who have helped.

Hats off to our North Port Moose Legionnaires for theirOctoberfest, hope everyone enjoyed.

Wanted to let everyone know that we will now have Giland Rhonda along with Dan and Sunny for our Fridaynight entertainment. Hope to see everyone come outand show off your voice.

Hats off to the Women of Chapter 1892 for greatdinner and show. They went well above expectationswith their menu and the entertainment. They showedus how you can have over 100 members for dinnerand all had a great time. And of course their breakfastwas a great turn out.

Members, just a little note: we have new bartendersso when they along with our other bartenders ask foryour Moose card know that they are doing their job.Each and everyone of us should always be proud toshow our card.

Don't forget about our Queen of Hearts onWednesday which is at 6:00 and our Meat Bingo at7:00 on Thursday's. Our new bingo machine is now upand working. Still learning the in and out of it but Iknow between Henry and Ken they will have itcovered. A special thank you to Paul Hendrick for thegenerous donation in purchasing our machine. Thankyou to all our players who have supported our bingo.

Don't forget that our Bucs and Bears game is in just afew weeks. Let's all have a great time. And and notefrom me: GO CUBS GO.
