Colombian surgeon sees advantages of Gelitacel®

“I definitely prefer Gelitacel.”

To begin with, Dr. Jimenez Chaura uses

Gelitacel® when he notices minimum su-

ture needle stick wounds, where there may

be leakage on the line of suture of the anas-

tomosis. The gauze is particularly effective

in preventing post-surgery haemorrhage or

leaking. Gelitacel® is also handy for cardiac
