“Mi nueva colección de temporada”- PROJECT A. INSTRUCCIONES: You are a fashion designer getting ready to put out a catalogue with your latest clothing collection. Your job is to create a catalogue with a detailed description of each item to entice your audience to buy garments from your new clothing line for each season (autumn, winter, spring and summer). YOU WILL MAKE A BOOKLET WITH YOUR ILLUSTRATIONS (MAGAZINE CUT OUTS, PICTURES FROM THE INTERNET OR YOUR OWN HAND DRAWINGS) SHOWING THE CLOTHING AND CAPTIONS LABELING THE CLOTHING IN SPANISH. YOU WILL INCLUDE: 1) A COVER PAGE with a title to your collection; your name and class period. 2) TWELVE CATALOG PAGES: One with clothing illustrations for each season, one to describe each season clothing line and one Look book page for each seasonal collection. 3) TEN ITEMS OF CLOTHING for EACH SEASON. Make sure to LABEL each article of clothing in Spanish. 4) WRITE OR TYPE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION of each seasonal collection. You should use clothing vocabulary, color vocabulary, descriptive adjectives, fabrics, styles and other things that clothes may have such as buttons, velcro, zippers, pockets, buckles, etc. 5) A PAGE with samples of some fabrics, any decorative trim (like imitation jewelry) and other items used in making clothes, especially those that you’ll include in your descriptions. You may include some pictures and/or small samples to appreciate THE TEXTURE. LABEL them in Spanish. If you are including the actual fabric and trims or other items please use a Sheet Protector for this page! 6) A BACK COVER. Include an opinion about the project and how the process of its completion has helped you to reinforce what you learned in the unit: “iLuzcámonos! La moda y su personalidad,” as well as gaining some knowledge in general.(in English) 7) Your catalogue must be NEAT, COLORFUL, AND GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT in Spanish. BE CREATIVE! B.
