Formed in the Real Sporting de Gijón Academy, he played 240 matches in the Division 1 of the Spanish Professional Soccer League and more than 200 matches in the Division 2.

He belonged to the following teams:Real Sporting de Gijón, Recreativo de Huelva, C.F. Extremadura, C.D. Logroñes, Real Murcia,S.D. Compostela and CD Numancia. In 2009 he moved to Houston (Texas, USA)to work as assistant coach to Dr. Santesteban inSan Jacinto College. This allowed him to deeplyunderstand the University Soccer Leagues.

When Iñaki came back to Spain,he started to develop internationalsport projects between Spainand USA.

Our“Soccer Summer Project” Language Inmersion and Soccer in Spain

How about spending some weeks playing soccer in Spain?

In this country where La Liga is considered as one of the best major leagues in Europe and worldwide, you will be trained to play soccer in the best possible way.Rigor, tactics and accomplishment are the key words;that is certainly why the Spanish soccer structures is so successful and attracts the best international players.

Gijón, in Asturias –in the North of Spain- is famous for its landscapes and ideal climate for practicing sports in summer. In 2016 Gijon was awarded by “European City of Sport”. Headquarters of a historic club with more than 100 years of history, the Real Sporting de Gijón.

Our families will make you feel like another member and will give you the opportunity to live a perma- nent immersion in a welcoming and typica- lly Spanish community.

In our program, language immersion is combined with the experience in a football club as well as personalized training with a UEFA Pro Coach.

The “Soccer Summer Project” includes:

• Accommodation in a family with all meals. • Training with a selected team during weekly training sessions for 2/3/4 weeks from mid-July to the end of August. Weekly trainings typically entail four days per week with local Spanish club and two days per week of S&E Training.

• Participation in friendly matches, depending on the club.

• Transfers from/to the local airport.

• Support 24/7 from local S&E representative.

The “Soccer Summer Project” does not include:

• Airfare.

• Transportation costs or anything else not mentioned previously.

• Medical insurance, which is mandatory for participation in the program.
