The students have initiated a heartfelt event and set an example for the new comers to follow the same. The occasion held a genuine surprise and was cherished by all the teachers.

Technohorizon “the quarterly newsletter” was launched alongside Technozon 2K16 on th7 October, 2016. With the efforts of Dr. Vilas Shinde, Principal, Editor-In-Chief; Ms. Seema

Chourasiya, Editor and the Editorial Board, the newsletter was successfully initiated and released by the hands of the renowned personality Dr. S. S. Mantha, the former AICTE Chairman and the Chief Guest of the event Technozon 2K16. The inaugural issue of Technohorizon carried the message of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh on its cover which has been remarkable. on the pages of NHITM.

NHITM organized a spiritual program termed ‘‘Science of Success’’, conducted by the devotees of Oneness University. They cater to people of every faith and all levels of society; the University represents growth and learning in both the internal and the external spheres of life. The suggestive voice of Ms. Nivedana Ji energized and radiated the supreme light with her discourse in: the increase of success rates, the increase of happiness and moulding one's personality. The students, faculty and staff found the spiritual program to be a relaxing, soothing, and divine experience.

The second-year students of Engineering hosted a fresher's party for the first years. Dr. Vilas Shinde, Principal, NHITM commenced the occasion with a speech. The students proceeded with a vibrant display of their talents. The core attraction of the event was the “Ms. Fresher” contest, won by Ms. Rutu Gujarati for her charming and intellectual personality. The contest was judged by Dr. Anu Malhan, Ms. Seema Chourasiya and Ms. Rasika Shelar, Assistant Professors in distinguished Departments of NHITM. Seniors welcome Juniors and this is the time and the moment to bring new faces together with all seniors to strengthen their bonding of academics.
