From the East
From the East,
Welcome brethren to the New Year! This year is shaping up to be another banner year at Harmonia Lodge. We have a great team in position to serve the lodge and a busy calendar is in place. Our events kick off with the newly elected officers installation on January 11 at 6:30 pm beginning with a special dinner from our district renowned Chef Ricky, followed by officer installation at 7:30.
I personally invite everyone to come out and join me in welcoming our great team for 2016.
The New Year is a time for reflection and resolution. We cannot be certain what the year will bring but we can dedicate ourselves to make the best of whatever comes. It is easy to use this time every year as a measuring stick against our situations and ourselves personally. These past years have been challenging for many of us and I want to recognize that our lodge has endeavored to press onward and upward. I feel that this has happened successfully because of what Masonry stands for. While we will always have various personal challenges and successes, ups and downs, and though it may feel sometimes that we are stuck on a turntable in our lives, we always know that a lodge is a place where we can go to set all that aside. Together we can make a difference in our community, in our families and in ourselves.
My commitment in 2016 is to continue to raise the bar for everything that Freemasonry stands for, charity, family, and community. Join me and the rest of the team at Harmonia lodge to usher in the new year. I know that I'm looking forward to it and I hope you will be there to help us make 2016 the best year possible at Harmonia lodge!
See you in lodge!
Charley Hogwood
Worshipful Master
From the West
From the West,
HAPPY NEW YEAR BROTHERS!!!
Goodbye 2015 and welcome 2016! Here we are again in January at the beginning of a new year. Where has this past year gone! It seems like only yesterday that we were beginning 2015.
Words cannot express the feelings I have lodged within my breast at the fact that the Craft has seen fit to elect me to the West and given me the opportunity to serve our great Lodge. Thank you God for the many blessings that you poured unto us all this past year. Yes, there have been many challenges, but in our journey through life there ever walks beside us our God and eternal friends who are always ready to guide and support us through all the difficulties and trials that may come unto us.
CONGRATULATIONS to the newly elected and appointed officers for the year 2016. I truly want to express my appreciation to all the Brothers for the trust you've given me, and for the unending friendship and support you always provide.
My vision this coming year is to the best of my ability keep our Lodge growing, have better communications, more Masonic education for the Brethren, wherein we are already doing a great job I should say, and within our great Fraternity, give more assistance to Brothers and families who are in need, within and outside of the walls of our great Lodge.
Once again, I wish you all a great new year! I am looking forward to seeing each and everyone in Lodge soon!
May God continue to bless us all and our great Fraternity all year long
Ricky Espiritu
Senior Warden
From the South
From the South,
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate everyone on a great year at Harmonia Lodge. Our fine Lodge has advanced in many positive ways. I would also like congratulate the new incoming 2016 officer line and welcome all of our new members and encourage everyone to resolve regular participation for the New Year.
I would like to also thank everyone for the opportunity to serve the Lodge in the capacity of Junior Warden. It is an honor that I hope to fulfill to the best of my abilities. We have a great team in the kitchen this year and the crew is looking forward to a great year of fantastic meals and fellowship.
I will always encourage and welcome help in the kitchen and suggestions for meals. We will strive to keep everyone well fed, and if there are any dietary needs from a member, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate. Happy New Year brothers!
From the South,
Marco Sevilleja
Junior Warden
Secretary Sez
Brethren,
The dues notices for 2016 have been received and sent out to the Craft. Thank you to those Brothers who have already remitted their 2016 dues payments. If you have not yet paid your 2016 dues, please remit your payment to the Lodge Secretary or pay them directly next time you are at Lodge! If there are circumstances or challenges preventing you from paying your dues, please contact myself or the Worshipful Master. We are here to help my brothers, you need only to reach out and ask.

The Secret
Science of
Masonic Initiation by Robert Lomas
This book is a short book, 110 Pages, but it is filled with some real mind provoking thoughts and makes the reader think. Lomas, “Brings to light the true meaning of the rituals and beliefs that underspin the much misunderstood and mysterious movement.” In chapter one he talks of Why become a Mason? “The secret science is that of knowing yourself.” Good read Recommend it.

Your Lodge Needs You!
Can you help out one day per month by volunteering to be on the Lodge cleaning
crew! We need Brothers for once a month inside cleaning and outside
maintenance. You choose which one! Please contact Sec. Lou Babbit at (561)282-8475 or the Lodge office.
Leave your mark on Harmonia and create a
legacy for you and Lodge
From the newly initiated EA to the aged Master Mason, every brother feels the great sense of pride and historical legacy when
taking a seat in Harmonia. Now you can have an individual Lodge seat named in your honor,
or commemorate one for another brother or loved one for a one-time donation of $200.
Your name and message will be professionally engraved on a brass plate and affixed on the seat of your choice, permanently displaying the honor and making you a member of an
exclusive group of brothers
A limited number of seats are available, and this program is on a first come first serve basis,
so don’t get left out!
Please see Lou Babbit, Lodge Secretary, if you are interested or have further questions.
