• Narrated Bus & Walking Tours of Local Civil War Sites, including East & West Shores, Downtown Harrisburg & the Historic Lincoln Cemetery

• The State Museum of Pennsylvania(Free Admission on Sunday, June 18, 2017) “Free Civil War-related gift from The State Museum Store to first 100 museum visitors on Sunday, June 18.”Second Floor Civil War Exhibition presents artifacts, including the PA State Flag that was in place on the platform as Lincoln delivered The Gettysburg Address & the giant 1870 narrative painting “Battle of Gettysburg: Pickett’s Charge” by Peter F. Rothemel, War Secretary Simon Cameron’s carriage and the original wooden water pump from Camp Curtin.

• John Harris / Simon Cameron Mansion & Museum Home of Lincoln’s first Secretary of War, Simon Cameron was the first to propose arming African-Americans early in the war effort. He also played a major role in establishing Harrisburg as a central location for the movement of Union troops and material. Mansion tours include items from Cameron’s service in Lincoln’s cabinet and as Ambassador to Russia during the Civil War.

• Broad Street Market - Shop like the soldiers did!The Broad Street Market was founded in 1860, and still thrives today as a culturally rich place to experience the broad diversity of fresh food, people, and city life.

During the Civil War, farmers at the Broad Street Market helped feed the 300,000 Union soldiers who mustered at nearby Camp Curtin.Hours: Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM & Saturday: 7:00AM - 4:00 PM.

• PA National Fire Museum1820 North 4th Street, Harrisburg (Sunday, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)Includes original Civil War era engines and equipment. An original framed listing of the City’s Firefighters who joined the Union Army and the units in which they served.
