Clients routinely rely on APEX CNC Swiss, Inc. to machine various materials including stainless steels in grades 303, 304, 316, 17-4 and 416; high-nickel alloys including monel, Inconel, and aluminum, titanium; copper or brass. Polymers including Nylon, PEEK, Torlon and Teflon are also machined.

Beyond our internal capabilities, APEX CNC Swiss, Inc. collaborates with qualified manufacturers to provide turn-key value-added finishing, such as heat treating, surface coatings, chemical treatments, testing, shot peening, autofrettage and custom packaging. We solve complicated machining challenges by integrating best in class technologies for automated machining and part finishing.

Swiss Precision in the USA

Our Swiss type, sliding headstock lathes can “turn-mill” machine projects in finished diameters from .125" (3.2mm) diameter to 1.25" (32mm). Our six and seven axis Tsugami CNC machines finish components in one set-up for total accuracy and are matched with high quality FMB bar feeders to support lights-out

manufacturing. Our CNC machine tools are late-model, quality Tsugami Swiss type machines with advanced Fanuc controls for repeatable, consistently accurate tolerances of +/- .0002" (.005mm) or better. Tool room machines are superior Bridgeport, Hardinge and Monarch nameplates with digital read out capability.

Quality Control APEX CNC Swiss, Inc. has a total quality management system based on ISO 9001: 2015 standards. Each client project follows a defined process that begins with incoming bar stock documentation and inspection.

Final inspection in the metrology department features optical vision equipment. The video measuring system uses a high-resolution digital camera, on-axis illumination and superior 25x –185x optics to deliver accurate metrology performance.

APEX CNC Swiss, Inc. is working to acquire new knowledge in 3D additive manufacturing and apply that knowledge for new products and services. We utilize

market leading technology for powder bed fusion, material extrusion and directed energy deposition systems, per ASTM F42 definitions, to prototype and manufacture your components using our extensive metalworking and manufacturing experience.
