MVR (Mechanical Vapors Recompression) uses a

centrifugal fan, driven by either an electric motor or a

steam turbine, to re-compress the vapors from separation

chamber thus increasing their enthalpy and allowing their

use as heating medium in the exchanger.

In the recent past we have proposed Apollo MVR evaporator as a first

stage of evaporation in conjunction with a standard triple effect Forced Flow

evaporator acting as finisher.

Today we can supply a complete range of Apollo pre-evaporators:

– Virtually no steam needed for heating. – Exhaust steam from turbine recovered in downstream

evaporators. – Evaporation efficiency up to 1:20. – CFT technology: APOLLO falling film evaporator and

centrifugal fan at maximum 3,200 rpm as MVR.
