App Inventor challenge 2015 Introduction: We are working alongside other schools in our schools ‘pyramid’ to promote e-safety through the ‘App Inventor challenge’. The challenge is to come up with an idea for a mobile app that will help us to stay safe when we are using the internet. Once we have chosen the winning app idea/s from our school, children at Lytchett Secondary School will then create the app and publish it for download from the Google Play store! The details: Deadline: Monday 9 th March 2015 Your task: Come up with an idea for a mobile app which promotes e-safety The outcome: You need to produce a poster or presentation to explain your idea Think about: The name of the app, the layout, a colour scheme, the target audience - education or fun Examples of what you can do: Your app can include text / images / video / sound Your app can have a maximum of 4 screens Here are a few ideas to get you started: Create a quiz about e-safety Think of a simple game to promote e-safety Produce an information based app Design a character or logo to be part of the app To find out more about staying safe online you can refer to the SMART rules poster that we use in school or check out these links :
