1.1 Posture.
Meaning The way in which a person holds himself/herself as he/she stands, walks or sits.
Assessmentprocedure
Make the client stand and sit.
V. Good Proper alignment of the head to the body with conformity to the supporting base.
Good Only a slight deviation like a tilt in the shoulder.
Fair When there is drooping shoulders and a tilted head.
Poor When the client has drooping shoulder, tilted head, and bent vertebra.
1.2 Gait.
Meaning Manner or rate of walking.
Assessmentprocedure Make the client walk.
V. Good Able to walk steadily and erectly.
Good Walks only with a slight tilt of the shoulder.
Fair Walks very slowly with drooping shoulders and tilted head.
Poor When the client staggers with drooping shoulder, tilted head and bent vertebra.
