Double Ovens
Ventilation
Because wall ovens are smaller than range ovens,
having an extra can be useful. Answer these questions
to help you find the perfect double ovens.
Proper ventilation is important, especially if you cook
often or cook foods that produce a lot of steam, heat,
or odors. Hoods are measured in cubic feet per minute
(CFM) and the higher the CFM , the more powerful the
fan in the hood is.

Microwave OvenChoosing Your
Microwave ovens come built-in, countertop, under-

an array of colors. Answer the following questions to find
the microwave oven that fits your needs.

1CountertopFirst thing to remember when considering a
countertop microwave oven is not to sacrifice any
needed counter space. Available with convection,
countertop microwave ovens come in compact,
midsize, and large.
DrawerLooking for a more modern, built-in appliance?
Consider a drawer microwave oven. Built at an
easy-to-reach height, it’s the perfect addition to a
modern kitchen.
Over-the-rangeThis model saves counter space and provides
ventilation for your range. In order to produce a
consistent look and feel in your kitchen, over-the-
range models are usually paired with an appliance
set. Convection option available.
Speed CookThese models cook food four to eight times faster
than traditional methods using microwave and light
technology. They are also more energy efficient,
which can lead to more savings in the future.
Built-inBuilt-in models mount underneath a cabinet or
counter, or above a wall oven. This is a particularly
good choice if you have limited counter space.
Convection mode can be added to many of the
built-in models available.
ConvectionDo you want time-saving shortcuts? Convection
ovens cook food quicker and more evenly than
traditional microwaves due to an internal fan that
circulates air.

Before Your PurchaseAdvice to Consider
Buying new appliances can be stressful, but at ADL Appliances,
we are here to help! Throughout this planning guide we
included tips and tricks helpful to know when buying specific
appliances. Here are five more tips to help make your new
appliance purchase seamless.
Learn from other’s mistakes Buy appliances that fit your needs
Measure everything three times
Ask your salesperson what else you need
Don’t make an impulse buy
Before buying a new appliance, ask around first.
Avoid buyer’s remorse by trying out your neighbor’s
new front-load washer or reading reviews online.
Do you need a fridge that fits your family’s weekly
box of leftover pizza? Or an oven that fits your casse-
role dish for your famous lasagna? Make sure when
you are shopping for your new appliance that it fits
all your needs. Make all necessary measurements
before shopping around.
Measure the space you are putting the appliance.
Measure it two more times. Then measure the foyer
and the door. Not only would it be a waste of time to
buy a new appliance that won’t fit in it’s designated
spot, it would be even worse to buy an appliance that
won’t even fit in the front door or through a small,
winding hallway.
That new range may need a higher power exhaust
fan. There might be something that makes that glass-
top stove easier to clean. Your salesperson will know
the extra features that your new appliances need so
don’t be afraid to ask.
We’ve made this planning guide specifically so you
don’t make an impulse buy. Plan out everything be-
fore buying your new appliance so you don’t end up
with something that doesn’t fit your needs.
