How long is your internship? 16 weeks Do you accept unaffiliated applicants? No Do you accept students not pursuing a master’s degree? Yes Do you provide housing? No Will I be contacted when my application has been received? No When will I be contacted about my status in the application process? Once all

applications have been reviewed (typically 2 weeks after the application deadline), we contact all applicants via email if they are not moving forward in the process or by phone if they are being offered a phone interview.

Can I be enrolled in courses when I apply? Yes. Course In-Progress forms must be included and all ACLP required courses must be completed by start of internship.

Do I need to submit separate recommendation letters from the ACLP recommendation form? Yes. Please include signed and sealed personal recommendation letters from a professor and someone who has observed your work with children along with the recommendation form in the ACLP common application.

How many rotations does an intern rotate through? 4-6 How many interns do you take at a time? We offer 2 internships each semester. Do you offer summer internships? No When do your internships begin and end? Typically, the Fall internship begins

early August and ends at the end of November and the Spring begins early January and ends mid-April.

Do you require a practicum? It is STRONGLY recommended and encouraged. Do you require a site interview? Yes, we ask our top 5 candidates to spend a full

day with us for an interview and site visit. Please only apply if traveling for an interview would not be an issue.

Do you require the common Child Life application? Yes.
