A member o the applicants amily is any o the ollowing persons

(a) the applicants spouse, ather, mother, son, daughter, grandather,

grandmother, grandson, granddaughter, brother, sister, uncle,

aunt, nephew, niece or frst cousin; (NB: frst cousin means, in

relation to a person, the son or daughter o his uncle or aunt);(b) the ather, mother, brother or sister o the applicants spouse;

(c) the spouse o the applicants son or daughter;

(d) the applicants stepather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter,

stepbrother or stepsister; or

(e) a person with whom the applicant has lived as a member o an

unmarried couple or at least two o the three years beore the

day on which his application or entry clearance was made.

In addition:

Children adopted under an adoption order recognised in UK

law are treated as i they are the natural children o the adoptive

parents; and,

The Immigration Appeals (Family Visitor) Regulations 2003
