I believe we have seen a significant improvement in the quality of the
ultrasound requests we receive from GP’s. HP also allows us justification for rejecting requests now that the

HP is local information which assures you that you get the most up to date information for your patient. We can often avoid referrals to hospital as we can find the answer in the consultations Dr Jon Tose (GP) Repository of information which supports primary care colleagues with decision making. Benefit is consistent management . We’ve seen a reduction in referrals and improvement in referral information. It’s a driver for whole systems change. Dr Shaz Wahid (Medical Director STFT)
