Insurance associated with group Following the retirement of Mr. Titus Kalenga, I wish to announce the appointment of Mr. Geoffrey Chirwa as Chief Executive Officer of Nico Insurance Zambia Limited, with effect from 1st November 2016. Prior to this appointment, Geoffrey served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia PLC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction, from the University of Zambia, with about 19 years work experience in the insurance sector. He is also a Chartered Insurer, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK, a Fellow with the Life Office Management Association, USA, a Fellow with the Insurance Institute of Zambia, an Associate in Customer Service, USA, an Associate with the Financial Services Institute, USA, an Associate in Insurance Agency Administration, USA, an Associate in Insurance Regulatory Compliance, USA, an Associate in Reinsurance Administration, USA, an Associate with the Zambia Institute of Marketing and a holder of a Certificate in Contract Wordings, UK. Geoffrey is an achiever, decisive, innovative, result-oriented, customer-centric and a dynamic professional. I have no doubt, therefore, that he will take NICO Zambia to greater heights as he takes centre-stage in the communication and implementation of the company’s vision, mission and overall direction for the benefit of all our stakeholders.
