Apprenticeship levels

There are three levels of apprenticeship programmesavailable depending on your current skills andqualifications:

Higher Apprenticeships are qualifications at Level 4 orabove which is the equivalent to Higher Education.

How is an Apprenticeship delivered?

Underpinning knowledge is usually delivered at The Isleof Wight College.

In addition, Apprenticeships include transferable skills(Maths, English and in some cases ICT), employmentrights and responsibilities and personal learning andthinking skills. This package of components is whatemployers have identified as necessary to workeffectively and have a successful career.
